The World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles is seeking candidates for the position of executive director, beginning in January 2009. Applicants should have excellent written and verbal skills in English, wide knowledge of the international band scene, and an awareness of cultural differences between bands around the world. Candidates should have good record keeping, organizational, and computer skills. Preferred candidates would be current members of the organization, familiar with its goal and history.
